Grab a mom (any mom!) and come on out for some spring inspiration.  Let’s celebrate Mother’s Day by cooking up some fresh and flavourful fare together.  We will be exploring the use of fresh herbs: how to harvest, prepare and store herbs, and how to incorporate them into daily cooking. With our gardening afficianado on hand, we will have a lively discussion about how to grow many of these herbs in large garden plots, in patio planters or even on a windowsill.  End the evening with a beautiful dinner and a toast to the mom’s in your life.

On the menu:

Basil, Mint, Arugula and Fennel Salad, Fresh Tarragon Vinaigrette

Herbed Tomato Bisque with Whipped Feta and Oregano/Parsley Oil

Tabbouleh with Grilled Mint Crusted Chicken Skewers, Lemongrass Drizzle

Strawberry and Basil Galette, Balsamic Whipping Cream
