Meet our resident sourdough expert and her favourite starter named “Karl”. We will teach you the ins and outs of creating a simple sourdough loaf at home, without too much fuss or fretting. We will show you all the stages of sourdough development and guide you step-by-step through the building of your own sourdough loaf from scratch. You will go home with a loaf ready to bake, a container of your own starter and all the skills to make your own sourdough bread until you heart is content!

PLEASE BRING: A 6-8 quart bowl, which is a bowl about 14” across. This can be a plastic, aluminium or any bowl you’d like to mix bread in. And a lid for your bowl or a smooth cotton tea towel to cover your dough to take home.
Style of Class: Our Hands On Workshop style classes have you seated classroom style with all the ingredients and equipment to cook up a storm. Together with your table partner, you will mix and mingle while we guide you step by step through the process.
