It’s time for MORE! If you are already a regular sourdough baker, or have attended our basic Sourdough class and have a grasp of the fundamentals, then this class is for you! Our instructor will take it up a notch to stretch your skills and help you create amazing loaves of grainy bread. Given that the addition of higher fiber grains changes things up, let us set you up for success. With tips on choosing the right blend of grains and a review on fermentation timelines, we will cover what you need to know to up the ante. Plan to bring your questions and experiences so we can all learn from each other!

Multigrain Sourdough with homemade preserves

Take Home ready-to-bake grainy sourdough boule

PLEASE BRING: A 6-8 quart bowl, which is a bowl about 14” across.  This can be a plastic, aluminium or any bowl you’d like to mix bread in. And a lid for your bowl or a smooth cotton tea towel to cover your dough to take home.

CLASS NOTES: Tickets are non-refundable, but you may cancel for a credit with a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to the class. Or feel free to send friends in your place. Please email selena@thecookingroom.com if you are joining another party so we can plan to seat you together. Unfortunately, special dietary requirements cannot be accommodated.
