Hands On Cooking

Feeling a little adventurous? So are we! These two chefs are throwing a Crab Boil in our kitchen. This feast, full of flavour and bursting with seafood, is certain to warm you on a chilly winter evening. We will set up your station with all the ingredients to make-your-own simmered pot, along with spices and seafood of your choice (set for groups of 2 or more). Set up a spread on your table, pour some drawn butter and dig into this authentic Louisiana feast with us.

On the menu:

Cajun Red Beans and Rice

Seafood hot pot with mussels, clams, crab, and mahi mahi, potatoes and corn

Greens with smoked tomato vinaigrette

Mardi Gras Coconut Cake

Style of Class: Our Hands On classes will get you up and cooking with us! Then sit back, relax and enjoy a feast. We will seat you in groups of 4-6. Please email hello@thecookingroom.com if you’d like to be seated with a specific group.

Class notes: Our classes are for adults only. Tickets are non-refundable, but you may cancel for a credit with a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to the class. Or feel free to send friends in your place.
