Hands On with Nan Dell

No, silly, not that kind of Pot! This one-pot cooking class will be celebrating another kind of pot. The kind that can be filled with all the goodness of meat, fish, vegetables and grains and put over the heat to transform into melt-in-your-mouth meals. This method of braising in a pot has been around for years, but our fast paced lifestyles have left it behind. For meat that quite literally falls apart under your fork, there's no better cooking method than braising. Cuts of beef and pork don't get all the braising love — we can also make fantastic, flavorful braises with fish, chicken, and vegetables all by themselves. Join a night of bubbling pots as we layer on the flavour and explore cooking in just one pot.


  • LIABILITY: By agreeing to purchase a ticket for The Cooking Room, you acknowledge the risks and dangers that exist in participating in an event at The Cooking Room and accept and assume these risks and dangers.   • TICKETS: You will not receive a physical ticket. An email will confirm your reservation.  

  • SEATING: If you are joining a group, please email selena@thecookingroom.com to notify us of your party size and guest names so you can be seated together.

  • CANCELLATION: With 48 hours notice, you may cancel your reservation and hold a credit for future use. Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice will not be credited. Refunds are not provided.
